Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and its History

“Craniofacial surgery will become very useful for cosmetic surgery” – Douglas Ousterhout, 2015   Facial feminisation surgery (FFS) is a set of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial reconstructions aiming to change masculine facial features into feminine ones. Combined with the ‘aesthetic’ in ‘reconstructive’ minds, FFS provides ‘softening’ and ‘harmony’ as more feminine looks. FFS is a combination of surgical procedures that are mainly aimed at transwomen and cis-women who prefer a more feminine facial appearance. The primary procedures involved in FFS include forehead feminisation, nose reduction (rhinoplasty), jaw surgery (orthognathic), and Adam's apple contouring (tracheal). Dr Douglas Ousterhout pioneered the first FFS operation in 1983. It is well-known that trans-sexual hormonal therapy can cause significant soft tissue alterations in the body. However, the effects of this therapy on bony parts are much more subtle. Recent data has shown that crossed-sex hormonal treatment has minimal effects on altering the shape and contour of bones, especially in the craniofacial regions. Therefore, craniofacial reconstruction surgery remains the best option for addressing undesired cis-gender facial appearances.

I studied and sought medical information for a long time from doctors in many countries. Until I came across the history and work of Dr. Sarut , and even more, I learned that he only specialized in FFS. In Australia, without hesitation, I decided to fly from Australia to Thailand. and adjust the forehead structure Ready for chin augmentation with the doctor I am very impressed and love the work done on my face. I recovered quickly too. Thank you very much, doctor.

I got to know the doctor by seeing a review from someone who made FFS knowledge content, and he came to do forehead reconstructive surgery with him. I didn't hesitate and decided to do it right away because FFS is not a silicone implant. It's not about putting in cement or injecting filler, but it's about adjusting the forehead structure. and I want to call it skull surgery The doctor made me feel more confident about my face. I felt beautiful. The doctor lifted my eyebrows, making my eyes bigger and not looking sad anymore.

I studied FFS for over 10 years before deciding to do it. It made it clear to me that the seller's forehead reshaping had to be about elimination rather than addition. I decided to do FFS forehead surgery and jaw surgery and V-line to make my entire face feminine. I really wasn't disappointed. I really like my new forehead. and wake up with a woman's face.
